Andrew S. Abend
Abend started M Is For Marketing to help companies reach their business goals through more effective marketing, and to maximize how they position themselves throughout their organization.

Abend brings 18+ years experience in branding, account planning, research and advertising for a wide range of companies – from start-ups to billion-dollar corporations. 

He is known for evaluating a company’s marketing plan and determining how to make it more effective. 

Additionally, Abend not only helps companies develop a relevant and motivating brand position, he shows his clients the way to embrace it throughout their organization.

Prior to starting M is for Marketing, Abend founded Abend & Moore, an advertising agency specializing in entrepreneurial brands.

Before Abend & Moore, Abend was Account Director at EAI where he led the branding and corporate communications efforts for Accenture and Dow Jones & Co.  He also helped brand companies such as Orkin Pest Control, UUNET/MCI Worldcom, Eaton Corporation, and Delta Air Lines while working at J. Walter Thompson, JWT Tech (formerly Donino White & Partners), Sawyer Riley Compton and BBDO.

Abend serves as a Atlanta Montessori International School Education Foundation Director and on Imagine It – The Children’s Museum of Atlanta’s marketing committee.  He is also a member of Vistage and BBA Leadership Development.

He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis, has two young boys and has been married for 13 years.
